Conventional toothpaste like found in awful plastic tubes consists of approximately 50% water. In order to bind this water and make it long-lasting, many preservatives, polyethylene glycol and stabilisers are needed. PlanetWood Dentin Toothpaste Tabs on the other hand do not need these additives!
This is how those and other substances like micro-plastics and nano-particles spare both you and the environment.
They are also Vegan.
Our Toothpaste Tablets are packaged in fully biodegradable and plastic-free pouches. The Tabs are made of 100% natural ingredients. This way both your teeth and the environment will benefit. Find out more below:
100% Biodegradable Packaging:
Our packaging is eco-friendly and completely biodegradable. The tablets are contained in an environmentally friendly food grade pouch that has a strong barrier providing an air, heat and moisture protective seal.
Each pouch comes with a zip lock to reseal the pouches after being opened which is also eco-friendly and biodegradable. We spent a long time sourcing the right manufacturer for our pouches to provide the best protection for the tablets whilst ensuring they are 100% kind to the planet.
Even our mailing bags that all orders are sent out in are eco-friendly. They are made from sugarcane and are carbon neutral. They will degrade and can also be recycled. We love these bags as they are the most environmentally friendly material currently on the market. They act like and, are as strong as, any plastic mailing bag - just not plastic!
100% Natural Ingredients:
Microcrystalline Cellulose
The polishing agent that is responsible for the wonderfully smooth feeling due to which nothing can attach to the surface. No Plaque, No Tooth Decay!
Sodium Bicarbonate
Combined with citric acid, responsible for the correct pH-Level.
Citric Acid
Increases the flow of saliva through which the remineralisation works so much better.
Silica
Helps with the cleaning/polishing and stabilises the tabs.
Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate - Not to be confused with Flavour Enhancers
Its duty is to tie the protein to the water so it will be flushed out when rinsing.
Although the word Glutamate is in Sodium Lauroyl Glutamate it has nothing to do with enhancers found within the food industry!
Our Toothpaste Tabs are Free From Glutamate & Gluten.
Magnesium Stearate
A plant-based helper needed during the manufacture of the tablets.
Natural Mint Aroma, Stevia & Menthol
Responsible for fresh and cool breath.
Xanthan-Gum
Makes the tabs smooth and creamy.
Sodium Fluoride
Supports the remineralisation of your enamel. Especially sensitive teeth necks may be repaired within only
days. Fluoride is the only proven substance to help prevent Cavities.
Eugenol
Is a natural part of the mint aroma.
PlanetWood Dentin Toothpaste Tabs are free from preserving agents, germicides, binding agents,
aluminium and plastics!
HOW TO USE
Toothpaste tablets are simple to use. Just pop one in your mouth and break it up using your front teeth until it has turned into a paste.
Grab your toothbrush (hopefully a Bamboo one) and brush as normal.
Spit, rinse and you are done.
Our tablets are better at cleaning than the plastic tubed variety due to them leaving your teeth very smooth and shiny. Plaque finds it hard to hold onto your teeth after using our solid toothpaste.
You will notice that our toothpaste doesn't leave a film on your teeth. This is one of the key reasons your teeth are better protected with Dentin™.
Dentin™ does not foam as it does not contain chemicals such as SLS or other harsh foaming agents found in traditional tubed toothpaste. It takes a little getting used to, but trust us when we say that one tablet is enough to provide a superior clean.
